Israel has restarted bombing of Palestine after negotiation for permanent truce with Hamas initiated by Egypt ended in a futile. But we have no knowledge whether the Cairo government has issued any statement to this effect. In this connection we want to say that Israel and Hamas should know that deaths of civilians and destruction of cities and villages are not the lasting solution. It needs concessions and frame of mind to realize each other’s sufferings.
The sufferings of he people of Palestine began in 1948 when the State of Israel was created in Palestine and tens of thousands of people were evicted therefrom forcefully. The USA, the erstwhile Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and France contributed equally to create a State for the Jews.
Three Arab states namely Egypt, Jordon and Syria fought Israel twice in 1967 and 1973. Each time, the western countries actively stood behind Israel with war materials and advisors But in the case of the Arab states, there was not a single country to play the equal role. Rather, Moscow’s hollow assurance damaged the Arab prospect of recovery. So, we like to ask Hamas to recognize Israel as a State and in turn Israel will take back all the evicted Muslims since 1946 and pay full compensation for the losses caused to them and their heirs since the aforesaid year.
