Gas leaking out from blast site

Gas has been coming out from the blast site of the city’s Moghbazar tragedy, said the fire service official.
A fire service unit led by Station Officer Yunus Ali has been working at the spot since Sunday morning.
According to fire service sources, a gas line was found inside the damaged building. Even the Titas Gas Authority has been also informed about this, they said.
Sabil Awal, Manager (south) of Titas Gas, said that a team of the company visited the spot after getting the news that gas was
leaking from the deleterious building. Were there should not be any legal gas line.
However, the gas line found in the building is being traced to where it had gone and who was using it, he added.
Earlier, the Managing Director of Titas Gas Ali Iqbal Mohammad Nurullah said that Titas had no connection of gas with the surrounding building destroyed in the Moghbazar blast.
He also claimed that the gas line that was found in the building by fire service was unusable.
Earlier on 27 June, An explosion occurred on the ground floor of a three-storey building near Aarong Showroom in Moghbazar Wireless Gate area in the capital at around 7:30 pm.
The blast has so far killed 11 people. Hundreds of people around the building were injured. Five people injured in the incident are still being treated in the hospital.
Seven buildings and three more vehicles including passenger’s buses were also affected in the blast of Moghbazar.
Accumulated gas was behind the massive explosion, officials and experts said after primary investigation.
Three more probe committee involving bomb disposal unit were formed to investigate explosion.
