Traffic movement on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in the city’s Uttara area was halted due to the snap of a gas pipeline during development works on Friday night causing immense sufferings to the city dwellers.
The gas pipeline was snapped near the main road in front of Uttara House Building around 9:15 pm, said Ataur Rahman, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room.
