Special drives against the bill defaulters and illegal gas under Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company Ltd ( KGDCL) have been launched in the port city’s Baizid Bostami, Jalalabad, and Mirpara area yesterday.
Three special team disconnected 39 residential ,three commercial connections for outstanding gas bill and 119 residential and 7 commercial for illegal gas connections from supply line.
A total of 1956 illegal lines were disconnected during the drive of illegal gas connection.
Manager ( Vigilance ) Engineer Hasan Sohorab and other officers were present during the special drive , says a press release.
