With the stories of the garment workers a TV serial titled Selai Poribar is being made to air on RTV soon.
Under the main concept given by Syed AK Anwaruzzaman noted actress Rokeya Prachi is giving direction of the serial. She has also written its script. Shooting of 13 episodes of the serial has already been done.
Dilara Zaman, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Ahmed Rubel, Ahsan Habib Nasim, Maznun Mizan, Sumona Shoma, Nisha, Oliul Haque Rumi, Dihan, Shamima Tusti, Sajjad Reza, Sajjad Rajib, Emon, Pial, Bithi Rani Sarkar, among others, are acting in different roles in the serial, which is being produced by CEO of SM Style Ltd (Smartex) Anowara Begum.
This was announced at a press conference held at a city restaurant in the city’s Gulshan area on Saturday where CEO of RTV Syed Ashiq Rahman, actress and director of the serial Rokeya Prachi, CEO of SM Style Ltd Anowara Begum, noted actress Dilara Zaman, director of Banglavision Ahsanul Bashar Pavel, actor Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Maznun Mizan, among others, were present at the press conference.
