Under the auspices of the Bisajanin Shanti Sanga, International wing, Iftar Mahfil followed by discussion meeting was held at its station road office premises in city on July 13 last with its chairman Principal Dr. Abdul Karim in the chair.
In the same occasion, Eid dresses were distributed among the hapless, distressed, poor women . In the meet, Dr. Karim said it is most necessary to minimize the differences between the poor and the affluents for establishing peacein all spheres of life. He further told that if the affluent section looks after the poor then the numbers of the poors will be eliminated from the society.
He called upon the affluents to stand behind the poors . Among others, Chief of Sangha CS Das, Vice Chairman Advocate Prabir Kumar Bhattachariya, Alhaj Saleh Ahmed Suleman, General Secretary Sukhomoy Chakraborty, Joint Secretary Dr. Anzan Kumar Das, Welfare Secretary Joydev Das, Office Secretary Md. Saifuddin, M.Abdul Batin, Dr. Akhtar Hossain, Kalachand Bhattachariya, Mr. Manas Sekar, Reba Barua, Mohan Chowdhury, Dr. Mohsin participated the discussion meet duly presided by Dr. Principal Abdul Karim.
