Some unknown gangsters in the first week of June looted a freedom fighter’s house in Baufal thana of Patuakhali district, after they broke open the main gate of the house, according to a general diary filed by the victim.
The name of the freedom fighter is Meer Siddiqur Rahman, son of late Meer Sharaf ALi from East Sanswar village in Suryamoni Union of Baufal upazila in Patuakhali district.
Siddiqur informed that the miscreants looted a bicycle, dress and garments, shopping bags and other goods worth around Tk. 59,000.
He was informed about the incident by his mother-in-law over phone next morning.
