UNB, Dhaka :
Visiting Gambian Minister of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment Abdoulie Jobe on Monday said Bangladesh can set up industrial units in his country to take the benefit of duty-free market access to Western countries that Gambia now enjoys.
Expressing interest to expand trade and commerce with Bangladesh, he said Gambia is like a bridge for Bangladesh that will help connect with Western and European markets.
Abdoulie Jobe stated this when he met Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali at the latter’s office.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed issues related to cooperation in agriculture, industry, information technology and solar energy generation.
