Sports Reporter :The Gala opening ceremony of the 3rd Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) was held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Friday.Minister for Finance Abul Maal Abdul Muhith formally opened the BPL as the chief guest.President of Bangladesh Cricket Board Nazmul Hassan Papon thanked the organizers, players, artistes and others for taking part in the opening ceremony. Later, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad, Nasir Hossain and Soumya Sarkar arrived at the stage on behalf of their respective teams, which will take part in the 3rd edition of BPL.Earlier, famous dancer Sadia Islam Mou and the other artistes performed a gala dance at the starting of the mega opening ceremony.Famous bands LRB, Chirkut and popular singer Momtaz rendered some popular songs during the inaugural ceremony of BPL.Indian singer KK and Bollywood heartthrob Hritik Roshan entertained the jam-packed audience by their performance.
