Robbers looted valuables from the residence of the additional deputy commissioner (ADC- revenue) in the district town early Wednesday.
Quoting witnesses, police said a gang of robbers stormed the house of ADC Aleya Begum in the dead of night by cutting the grill of window of the house.
The bandits looted five tolas of gold ornaments, cash Tk50,000 and other valuables from the house.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Osman Ali confirmed the incident.
