Gafargaon UNO Dr.Shamim Rahman visited twice elected former MP of Gafargaon and freedom fighter Abul Hasem (90) who was affectionate to Bangabandhu at village home at west Gafargaon village to see his ailing condition on Wednesday afternoon.
During that hours UNO Dr Shamim Rahman spent some time with him and inquired about his ailment.
Later, UNO Dr Shamim Rahman gave him Tk 30000 and allotment of Freedom Fighter as a part of this help for his treatment. At that time , Abul Hasem gave his book “Jokhon Ami MP Chilam” (When I was MP”) .
Before that Fahmi Golandaz Babel MP went to see his physical condition on May 26 .2017 and he also gave cash money and spent time with old aged former MP
Besides, when he was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University , Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader and other senior leaders also visited him
