In a raid by Pagla police in Mymensingh’s Gafargaon, top drug dealer Wadud, 52, was arrested with marijuana. He was arrested from Nama Langair area of Langair union in the upazila on Wednesday afternoon. The arrested drug dealer Wadud is the son of Chayed Ali of the area.
According to police sources, Wadud was arrested by the Pagla police on the basis of a tip-off while conducting a drug operation in Nama Langair area. Pagla Police Station OC Rasheduzzaman said, “We are continuing the anti-drug drive. The arrested drug dealer will be handed over to the court with a drug case.”
