Md. Abdullah Al Amin Biplob, correspondent of Dainik Samakal and Abdus Salam Sabuj, correspondent of Dainik Karatoya have been elected unopposed as president and general secretary respectively of Gafargaon Press Club. Chief Election Commission Md. Azim Uddin Master announced the results of the election held on Thursday for nominating the executive body of the club for 2021-22 session.
Other members of the Executive Committee are- Vice President Md. Rubel Mahmud – Aajker Kagaz, Joint General Secretary Md. Asaduzzaman Sohel – Jaya Jaya Din, Treasurer Md. Rukun Uddin Sabur – Time Light, Executive Member Sheikh Abdul Awal – Dainik Janakantha, Shafiul Alam Maruf- Daily Manabjamin, Mofazzal Ansari – Daily Sangram, Md. Azharul Haque – Daily Alokit Bangladesh have been elected without contest.
