MA Malek, editor of the Dainik Azadi , newly awarded Ekushey Padak at the World Cancer Day discussion organized by Chittagong Mother and Child Hospital, said that it is possible to prevent cancer through public awareness. If the treatment is started in time, it is possible to cure the deadly disease from cancer. Work is underway to build a people’s cancer hospital with public money to ensure complete cancer treatment for more than two crore people in Chittagong.
“We are establishing a hospital with state-of-the-art facilities for cancer treatment,” said MA Malek, editor of Dainik Azadi, chairman of the implementation committee of the Chittagong Ma O Shishu Hospital Cancer Institute.
This hospital is for the people of Chittagong. The establishment of this hospital will be taken forward with the participation of people from all walks of life in Chattogram.
