Bangladesh’s ace golfer Siddikur Rahman made an frustrating start to his Rio Olympics campaign as he finished 56th position among 60 participants after the first round at the Olympic Golf Course on Thursday night.
He played four-over-per-75 to share the 56th position Brandon Stone of South Africa.
In the first nine holes, Siddikur played two birdies against a lone bogey in the seventh hole.
The 31-year two-time Asian Tour champions Siddikur lost his tempo in the last nine holed and conceded five bogeys including successive three from 13 to 15 holes.
