Social Business Student’s Forum (SBSF) of Business Administration department of Daffodil International University (DIU) has recently organized ‘DIU Fruit Festival-2015’ in association with the Daffodil Startup Market at its campus premises.
The daylong festival included Best Stall Competition, Fruits Eating Contest and distribution of Fruits to Street Children etc. The program was supported by the DIU Volunteer Service Club. Prof Dr M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of DIU inaugurated the day long festival as chief guest while Prof Dr Md. Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr Aminul Islam, Founder Vice Chancellor and Emeritus Professor, Prof Dr SM. Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Prof Dr Engr AKM Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Masum Iqbal, Head, Department of Business Administration, Farhana Helal Mehtab, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Law and Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director (Students Affairs), Masud Ibne Rahman, Associate Professor and Head, Social Business Cell of DIU were present at the Fruit Fest-2015.
Fifteen stalls of students of different departments of DIU took part with various indigenous fruits in different names. DIU Vice Chancellor visited various stalls and interacted with students in a festive mode after inauguration.
