Two close intimate friends were held in city by RAB forces on Thursday .
They were detained from Cheragi pahar in city under Kotwali thana area on Wednesday night along with 550 pieces of Yaba and cash Tk.2.93 lakh. The friends identified as Mithu Shil and Soumitra Chowdhury.
Acting on secret information, RAB team conducted raid in the area and managed to apprehend them redhanded.
Mithu shil and Soumitra hail from Karnaphuli thana area and Sathkania upazila respectively.
A case under narcotics act has been filed before the concerned police station, sources said.
