A friend was killed by another in the port city on Friday early morning . Jasimuddin(25) was stabbed to death by his close friend Sajid. Jasim was stabbed indiscriminately by Md. Sajid while they returning after attending a pre-marriage function at Bihari colony in Khulsi .
Jasim is a dweller area under Khulsi thana and son of one Farid Ahmed. The tragic incident at early pre-dawn time on Friday. Chittagong Medical college hospital police camp in-charge Abul Bashar told that critically injured Jasim was brought in the hospital at early morning where the attending physicians declared him dead.
Khulsi thana officer in-charge Sukanta Chakraborty told this correspondent that sensing the news of stabbing, police forces stormed on the spot of killing and recovered the body which sent to hospital .
Police immediately conducted raid in Bihari colony and rounded up killer Sajid immediate after the incident. A murder case has been lodged before the concerned police station , sources said.
