A freshers reception, annual prize distribution ceremony and cultural programme was held at Milestone College on Saturday.
Education Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury was present in the ceremony as chief guest.
Founder and Adviser of Milestone College Colonel Nuran Nabi (Retd) was present as special guest. Welcoming address was given in the ceremony towards students by the Principal of Milestone College Prof. Md. Shahidul Islam. Vice Principal Lt. Colonel M.Kamal Uddin Bhuiyan (Retd), Director Masud Alam and others were present in the ceremony.
The chief guest and special guest of the ceremony both expressed their satisfaction over the well disciplined performance of the Milestone College’s students.
The Education Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury said, present government has given emphasis on the development of overall education. He also said, we are now living in the digital era where almost everything is done using technology. The technology has completely changed how people do things and think.
At the end of the ceremony a cultural function was organised by the students.
