The orientation program of the newly admitted students for Spring Semester 2015 in different academic programs of Southeast University (SEU) was held at its permanent Campus located at Tejgaon in the city recently.
Md Rezaul Karim, Hon’ble Chaiman, Board of Trustees, SEU Trust was present at the program as chief guest, while Dr Cecep Effendi, Director General, CIRDAP was present as special guest. Prof Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor of SEU presided over the program. Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury spoke to the newly enrolled students, while Registrar of the University Brig Gen Md Anwarul Islam, ndc, psc, G+ (Retd) welcomed them. Dean SASS, Prof Dr Md Abdul Hakim, Dean SSE, Prof Syed Fakhrul Hassan and Dean SBS, Prof Dr Golam Ahmed Faruqui also welcomed the students and introduced their respective schools.
The speakers encouraged the students to have right goal for life and positive mindset to pursue education consistently. The speakers also reiterated that SEU has the right environment to help them achieve their goals.
The program was attended by Members of the Board of Trustees, Chairs of different Departments, Distinguished Guests, Senior Academicians, Faculty Members, Staffs of SEU, newly enrolled students and their gurdians.
