A three-member delegation, led by Professor Francois Vellas of University of Toulouse of France, called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office on Sunday.
Other members of the delegation include Professor Francois Vellas of the same French university and Culture and Cooperation Attache’ of French Embassy in Bangladesh Emile Chassagnard. Among others, Prof. Dr. Majib Uddin Ahmed, Chairman and Faculty members of Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of DU, were also present on the occasion. During the meeting they shared knowledge and experiences of both countries and discussed matters of bilateral issues especially establishing cooperation between Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of DU and the Department of International Tourism of University of Toulouse of France. They also talked about possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and exchange programmes for students and faculty members by signing a MoU between the two universities. The DU Vice-Chancellor thanked the guests for their visit to and keen interest in academic activities of Dhaka University.
