Fazlul Haque, a heroic freedom fighter, has been buried with state honors in accordance with health norms. He breathed his last on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital due to old age and cancer.
Fazlul Haque, a heroic freedom fighter, was given a guard of honor at Shila village (Fakir’s house) in Mashakhali Union around 11am on Friday (August 13).
At this time a smart team of police gave him a guard of honor. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Tajul Islam took salute on behalf of the state.
Heroic freedom fighters Selim Ahmed, Salimullah Mustafa, local Awami League leaders and people of all classes and professions of the village were present. He was later buried in the family cemetery.
