Freedom fighter SM Azizur Rahman passed away at a hospital in the capital early Thursday.
The 65-year-old was undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and breathed his last at 4am.
He was the father of NTV’s senior reporter ASM Atiqur Rahman and the father-in-law of Jesmin Papri, diplomatic correspondent of Jagonews24.com.
The Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) has mourned the death of the Freedom Fighter.
In a condolence message, DCAB President Angur Nahar Monty and General Secretary Touhidur Rahman conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
