Police arrested a man named Asiful Ahsan Rabbi while he was cheating in the city in the guise of fake National Security Detective (NSI).
He was arrested from Khulshi area of the city around 5 pm on Tuesday (November 30).
During this time 2 fake NSI ID cards, visiting cards and 1 walkie-talkie were recovered from him.
Khulshi Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Shahinuzzaman told that a man named Asiful Ahsan Rabbi was arrested while cheating impersonating as NSI man. . He admitted in the preliminary interrogation that he had snatched Rs 2 lakh 60 thousand from two persons by showing greed for a job. Disciplinary action is being taken against him., sources added.
