CU admission test: Fraud gang still active, steps not yet taken

Fraud over admission test of Chittagong University cant not be checked due to lack of proper action from the authority concerned.
 A section unscrupulous people have became active during the admission test and grabbed money by trapping the general students aspiring to be enrolled in the varsity for the first year honours courses under 2016-17 session.
During the six days of the test, a total of 12 students have been detained on charge of fraud where eight were given punishment separately. On the second day of the test, two students were suspended from the examination hall and were handed over to Hathazari Thana. Moreover, eight more students including two Dhaka University students were detained on Thursday during committing fraud. They were produced to mobile court later and get punishment. The detainee were identified as Md Imran Hossain, hailing from Luhagara upazilla, Arfatul Islam from Chakaria, Aman Ullah from Pekua, Tahmid Mohammad Imtiaz from Kutubdia, Jeki Tripura from Khagrachari, Md Shakil Hossain from Patia, Mahsin Miah from Narsindi and Jahid Hossain. Imran was identified as a Masters student of TV and Films studies of Dhaka University and Aman was the first year student of Sociology department of DU. On the fifth day of the test, two more students were also expelled from the exam room.
All the detainee confessed that they were involved in fraud. As per the information given by the detainee, Tk 50 thousand to two lakhs was contracted from the aspirants.
The detainee told that, they utilize the opportunity of taking admit card hours before the examination while the university authority had no chance to trace the fraud.
