A Tribunal here in Kishoreganj has sentenced four men to death and 21 others to lif term improsonment in a 2012 duble murder case.
Md. Abu Taher, Additional District and Sessions Judge, passed the verdict on Tuesday.
The condemned convicts are Md. Alamin, Mizanur Rahman, Nazrul Miah and Swapan from Joyka village of Karimganj upazila in Kishoreganj district. The court also fined them Tk. 5 lakh each.
The lifers are Dider, Gias Uddin Sarkar, Habibur, Dulal, Israil, Jasim, Rafiqul,

Islam Uddin, Shabuddin, Ashraf, Kanchon, Alam, Selim, Lokman, Haroon, Shohel, Azad, Rukon, Ratan and Shamim.
According to the case story, Kubad Miah and Zakarul had an altercation with the convicts over a mobile phone on August 24, 2012.
At one stage of altercation, both groups attacked each other, leaving Kubad and Zakarul dead on the spot.
DB police submitted the chargesheet against 25 people.
The case was conducted by Public Prosecutor Shah Azizul Hoque, Assistant Public Prosecutor Md. Ataur Rahman & Assistant Public Prosecutor Abdus Salam on behalf of the State and Advocate Fazlul Kabir, Advocate Mohiuddin Ahmed, Advocate Ali Asgor Sawkat and Advote Mazharul Hoque for the accused.
