Police arrested a Rohingya refugee family including four members from Kewchiya area under Satkania upazila early on Saturday morning.
The arrestees were identified as M Anwar, 23, and his brother M Aziz, 18, sister Naima Begum 15 and mother Nur Begum, 45.
M Rafiqul Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Satkania Police Station said, “…we had secret information that a Rohingya refugee family had been staying in the area and we rushed to the spot at around 2:30 am. We have sent them to Cox’s Bazar, Ukhiya refugee camp.”
