Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Chattogram granted bail for interim period to four physicians of Max Hospital in port city who allegedly accused in deaths of the daughter of one journalist Raifa Khan(3) for their negligence in providing treatment in the hospital.
After their surrender before the court, CMM Abu Salem Md Noman granted bail upto the submission of police investigation report .
Asstt. Police Commissioner (Prosecution) Kazi ShahabuddinAhmed confirmed the news of courts order to this report yesterday afternoon. Minor Raifa Khan died of mismanagement of the Max Hopital on July 20 last and later father of the Raifa , Journo Rubel Khan filed a murder case before the Chowkbazar thana(Case No.8).
The accused physicians are – Dr.Liaquat Ali, Dr.Bidan Roy, Dr Debashish Sen and Dr Subra Dev.
