The government has promoted four secretaries to the rank of senior secretary (Grade-1).
The Public Administration Ministry issued an official order in this regard on Thursday.
The newly promoted senior secretaries are: Director General of Disaster Management (Additional Secretary) Md Shahadat Hossain, Chairman of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) (Additional Secretary) Md Haiul Quaium , Chairman of Petrobangla (Additional Secretary) Md Ruhul Amin and Director General of Family Planning Department (Additional Secretary) Quazi A.K.M Mohiul Islam .
They were dispatched to their existing offices as promoted officials after the promotion.
