Four more teams confirmed their quarterfinals berth of the First Security Islami Bank National School Hockey Competition eliminating their respective rivals in the final round held on Wednesday at the Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
In the first match, Municipal Model High School and College of Chittagong beat Richi High School Habiganj by 4-0 goals.
In the second match, Municipal Preparatory High School, Jessore defeated Police Line High School of Narayanganj by 5-0 goals.
In the day’s third match, Al Hikmah High School of Rajshahi edged past Chittagong University School and College by a solitary goal.
In the day’s fourth match, Armanitola High School of Dhaka dumped Dharail High School of Natore by 7-0 goals.
Earlier, Nawab Habibullah School, PM Pilot School and Khanjanpur School confirmed their last eight berth.
