Four matches of The Bamboo Cassel Club Cup Rugby competition decided on the opening day held (Monday) at Govt. Physical Education College in city’s Mohammadpur.
On the opening day’s matches, Old DOHS beat Jatrabari Krira Chakra 17-0 points, Rajdhani Rugby Club defeated Azad Sporting Club by 5-3 points, Gulshan Rugby Club outplayed Flame Boys Rugby Club by 3-0 points and Old Dhaka Rugby Club outclassed Victoria Sporting Club by 12-3 points.
Earlier, National Sports Council joint secretary Dil Mohammad (director sports) formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
