UNB, Tangail :Four people were killed and five others injured when a bus rammed a pickup at Jokarchar on Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge highway in Kalihati upazila on Wednesday.Three of the deceased were identified as Raju Ahmed, 30, pickup driver hailing from Kashil village in Basail upazila, Khadem Ali, 40, and Abdur Rahman, 50, of Saratoil village in Kalihati upazila.Akteruzzaman, officer-in-charge of BangabandhuBridge East Police Station, said the Dhaka-bound bus from Joypurhat crashed into the pickup in the area around 3:30pm, leaving three people, including the pickup driver, killed on the spot and six others injured.The injured were taken to Tangail Medical College Hospital where one of them, unidentified, succumbed to his injuries.
