At least four persons were killed and several others injured in separate road crashes across the country on Saturday.
In Faridpur, at least two workers were killed after a truck driver lost control over the steering and then
plunged into a roadside ditch at Shibrampur of Faridpur district on Saturday.
The injured were taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
“Two workers died after being crushed under goods of the truck. Their Identity could not be established yet. Dead bodies were handed over to Kanaipur highway police,” Md. Nurul Alam Dulal, Senior Station Officer of Faridpur Fire service, told media.
In Gazipur, a truck driver named Arif Ali, 40, was killed when another truk hit him in Vogda area of Gazipur City Cooperation on Saturday noon. Kawsar Chowdury, Officer-in-Charge of Bason Police Station confirmed the news to the media. In Savar, a transport businessman named Mohammad Ali Falu,55, was killed when a truck rammed him in Beribad area under Ashulia of Savar on Saturday.
