UNB, Munshiganj :
Four people, including women and children, were killed and two others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Gazaria upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased-two women and two children-could not be identified immediately.
Witnesses said, the accident took place around 12:45 pm when a cement-laden truck overturned at Jamaldi bus stand and fell into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw parked there. Four passengers sitting in the auto-rickshaw-two women and two children-died on the spot while two pedestrians were injured.
On information, police rushed to the spot.
Meanwhile, the traffic movement on the highway remained suspended following the accident.
