Four people were killed in separate incidents of lightning strikes in Meherpur and Sylhet districts on Sunday morning.
In Meherpur, two people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents of lightning strikes in Gangni upazila.
Bilkis Begum, 25, wife of Liton Hossain, a resident of the village, was killed as she was struck by a lightning strike at Kazipara village in the morning.
Meanwhile, rickshaw van driver Atiar Rahman, 55, son of Ismail Hossain, was killed as he was hit by a lightning strike at Goalgram village in the morning.
In Sylhet, Ali Hossain,24
and a 10-year old boy were killed as thunderbolt struck them at Manikpur village in Dakkhin Surma upazila at 9 am yesterday.
