The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) Chittagong zone arrested four drug peddlers with 13,200 Yaba pills, worth Tk 46.20 lakh, in two drives in the port city on Sunday and Monday.
On Monday, the DNC officials arrested Hasan Johar, 27, and Md Shahidul, 20, both hailing from Jaliyapara in Taknaf, with 12,000 Yaba pills in Riazuddin Bazar area, said Shamim Ahamed, deputy director (DD) of DNC.
Yesterday, the same team arrested Yusuf Sikdar, 53, of Bhola, and Chanoara Begum, 39, of Cox’s Bazar, in SS Khalek Road area.
Separate cases were filed with Kotwali Police Station.
