A couple, their 6-year-old daughter and the house help died after their car was hit by a bus on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in the early hours of Tuesday. Fazlul Bari, assistant professor of the National Institute of Mental Health, died immediately. His wife Asmaul Husna Bony, 34, daughter Fahmida Fairuz and house help ‘Seema’, 21, also died on the spot. The car was hit by a bus coming from the opposite direction on the highway at Daudkandi Upazila around 1:45am, said police.
