Four days GAPEXPO kicks off in city

The 9th International Garment Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) GAPEXPO-2018 has been kicked off in the city.
The four day long fair from 24 to 27 January, 2018 is taking place at International Convention City, Bashundhara, (ICCB).
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith inaugurated the GAPEXPO-2018 Fair. BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Mr. Abdus Salam Murshedi, President, Exporters Association of Bangladesh (EAB) were present as special guests.
There are more than 600 booths in the eight artifacts, including local and foreign industrial establishments. A total of 20 countries including India, China, Pakistan, Taiwan, Germany, Thailand, Japan, Sri Lanka, Turkey, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong are participating in this art fair. These stalls are showing garment accessories and garment accessories and machineries, raw materials and garments accessories and packaging industries, including Yarn and Fabrics. Since the exhibitions are being held for four days, there will be a great opportunity to gain experience for textile and ready-made garments sector. The latest international technologies will be presented in the exhibition. These technologies will help in increasing the production, standard, compliance and value addition of the main challenges of the garment industry. There will also be a bridge bond between buyers and sellers. I think this art fair will turn into an intermediate center for buyers and sellers. ASK Trade and Exhibition Pvt. Ltd., India and Zakaria Trade and Fair International are working as co-organizers of this fair.
