The 73rd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League was celebrated in Ishwardi with various arrangements. On the occasion of the day, National and Party flags were hoisted at the Awami League Office on Thursday and wreaths were laid at the mural of nationalist Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Later colorful rallies and cake cutting programme were organized.
The Chief Guest was Alhaj Nuruzzaman Biswas MP. Upazila Awami League President Naib Ali Biswas presided over the function. Murad Malitha, Joint General Secretary of Upazila Awami League conducted the function.
General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Abul Kalam Azad Mintu, Mayor of the Municipality Isaac Ali Malitha, Senior Vice President of Upazila Awami League Mohammad Rashidullah, Vice President Golam Mostafa Channa Mandal, Vice President Akram Ali Khan, Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad Salam Khan, Joint of Upazila Awami League- General Secretary Murad Ali Malitha, Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Atia Ferdous Kakli, Juba League leader Touhiduzzaman Dolan Biswas and others were participated in the function.
Tarash (Sirajganj) Correspondent reports: The 73rd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League was celebrated at TarashUpazila in Sirajganj on Thursday.
Upazila Awami League organised various programmes under the chairmanship of Alhaj Abdus Samad Khandaker, President of Upazila Awami League. Notable among the programmes were hoisting of National and Party flags at the Party Office, laying of wreaths at the mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, discussion meeting, cake cutting and prayer Mahfil.
The chief guest at the event was Member of Parliament from Sirajganj-3 Tarash Raiganj and Salanga Constituency Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Aziz. Upazila Awami League Co-President was present at the time.
