The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of Daffodil International University celebrated its third anniversary on Tuesday at its campus in Dhandmondi, Dhaka.
To mark this auspicious occasion Prof. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU thanked the faculty and students of the department for organising such a colourful event by themself and inviting a large audience, including some of the key industry leaders. He thanked the industry leaders for their presence on the occasion and sought their assistance in undertaking internship of the students in their respective organizations.
The function was also addressed among others by Department Head Mahbub Parvez, Treasurer, Hamidul Haque Khan, Maruf Islam, President and CEO of The Olives : Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor The Bangladesh Monitor, Masud Hossain, Managing Director of Bengal Tours and Travels, Toufiq Rahman of Journey Plus, Kazi Ahmed, Chairman and CEO, Bangladesh Development Council among others.
