The 49th founding anniversary of Jubo League has been celebrated through various programs initiated by Gafargaon Upazila and Municipality Jubo League on Thursday.
National and party flags was hoisted on the party office and wreaths were placed at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and a joyous procession was brought out the party office at evening.
Convener of Upazila Jubo League M Salauddin Palash, Convener of Municipality Jubo League Mahmudul Hasan Sajeeb and Joint Convener Tajmun Ahmed led hundreds of leaders and workers of Upazila and Municipality Juba League in the procession.

On the occasion of the day the National and party flags were hoisted on the party office by the initiative of Chitalmari Upazila Awami Juba League .
A colorful rally was brought out from the party office and ended at the same place after marching through to the Sadar Bazar. At this time the cake of the 49th founding anniversary was cut in a joyous atmosphere. After cutting the cake, Juba League Convener Sheikh Nazrul Islam presided over the function and joint convener Sheikh Mahatabuzzaman conducted it. Upazila Awami League President Md Babul Hossain Khan and General Secretary Piyush Kanti Roy also spoke in the programme.
District Council Member Alhaj Mohan Ali Biswas, Upazila Awami League Vice President Sheikh Badsha Mia, Sheikh Shahidul Haque, Barbaria UP Chairman Md Masud Sardar, Kalatla UP Chairman Sheikh Badsha Mia, Hijla UP Chairman Kazi Abu Shahin, Shibpur UP Chairman Waliuzzaman Jewel Khalifa, Joint Secretary of Upazila Awami League Sheikh Keramat Ali, Upazila Chhatra League President Md. Riazul Islam Riyadh, General Secretary Rabin Hira and thousands of leaders and workers at different levels of Union-Ward Awami League, Juba League and Chhatra League attended function.
