The foundation laying ceremony was held yesterday at New Academic Building of Jameya Ahmadia Sunnia Woman Maddrasha by Allamah Alhaj Syed Mohammed Taher Shah (MA) as Chief Guest.
Allamah Alhaj Syed Mohammed Hamid Shah(MA) , Noted Industrialist Alhaj Sufi Mizanur Rahman,Chairman PHP Family and Alhaj Mohammed Mohsin were also present . The new academic building of the Anjumane Rahmania Ahmedia Sunniya Trust run Jamia Ahmedia Sunniya Mohila Madrasa will be constructed with the donation of PHP Family group of chittagong at a cost of Tk.12 crores.This was disclosed by the chairman of PHP Family Sufi Muhammad Mizanur Rahman .
Mentionable that main building of the madrasa was also built with the finance of PHP Family at a cost of Tk.3 cr, sources said. The foundation stoneof the Mohila Madrasa was laid within the madrasa complex by Allama Syed Mohammad Taher Shah (MJA) on Sunday through offering doa and munajat . Noted industrialist Sufi Mizanur Rahman welcomed the Allama Taher Shah through presenting bouquets in the madrasa complex. Among others, Senior Vice President of the Anjuman Trust Md. Mohsin, General secretry Md. Anowar Hossain, syed Hamed Shah(MJA) Md.Shamsuddin, Sirajul Hoque, Giasuddin, Prof. Shamsur Rahman, Prof Didarul Islam, Mufti Obaidul Hoque Naimee, Noor Mohd contractor, Nurul Amin, Peyer Commissioner,advocate Mosahebuddin and other local elites were present in the foundation laying ceremony.
