A former Union Parishad member was stabbed-to-death by his relatives at Char-Nayakandhi village in Jalalpur union under Katiadi upazila of Kishoreganj on Thursday night over land dispute and supremacy.
The victim was identified as Siddique Rahman ( 62), son of late Abdul Mannaf
, and a former Union Parishad member in Char-Nayakandhi village of Katiadi upazila.
Katiadi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Jalil said that the murder was the product of land dispute by his relatives.
Police recovered the body and sent to Kishoreganj General Hospital for autospy..
