He was put on life-support after being admitted to Square Hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday night. Doctors declared him dead on Thursday morning, Shaheed’s son Nizamul Hoque Rana told bdnews24.com. Rana said his father was suffering from various ailments including kidney diseases and diabetes. He said his father’s body will be taken to Habiganj after a Namaz-e-Janaza at the South Plaza of Parliament on Thursday afternoon. Shaheed will be buried at the family graveyard at his Chunarughat ancestral home on Friday.
