Noted educationist BUET Professor (Retd.) Ex. MP and Awami League leader Dr. Mizanul Haque died at Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital (SNMCH) on Friday evening while under going treatment. He was 78.
He left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and well wishers and a host of relatives to mourn his death. He had been suffering from various complexities including diabetes and kidney problems for a long time.
Professor Dr. Mizanul Haque was elected Members of Parliament from Kishoreganj –3(Karimganj –Tarail) constituency from the ticket of Awami League in 1991and 1996.
His namaz-e-janaza was held at Karimganj Pilot High School playground on Saturday after Johar prayers.
President Md.Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina separate statement in condolence message, the death at Professor Dr. Mizanul Haque.
In a condolence message, the Premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
