Atauddin Khan, a former state minister for finance, died in Dhaka city on Monday. He was 87. Atauddin’s nephew Rajib Khan told UNB that his uncle breathed his last at his Asad Gate residence in the morning for old age complications.
He is survived by three daughters and three sons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Rajib said Atauddin will be buried on Wednesday at a graveyard on Nababganj Dohar College compound following his namaj-e-janaza after Asr prayers.
