Former teacher of Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) Department of Dhaka University (DU) Anisur Rahman died of prolonged illness on Monday morning at his residence at Chuddagram in Comilla district.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique expressed profound shock at the death of Anisur Rahman.
In a condolence message, he said that Prof Rahman was a meritorious teacher of the university. His contribution to the arena of journalism education will be ever remembered to the university, he added.
