Former VC of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) Dr. Shyamal Kanti Biswas is no more. He breathed his last on Sunday at a hospital in the USA.
He was 72.
He left behind his wife, two daughters, a son, and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
After retirement from CUET, he severed as a guest professor at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in Dhaka for around four years.
Family sources said he was suffering from Parkinson’s disease for the last couple of years.
