Deputy Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad M Fazley Rabbi Mia suggested for forming a strong commission under the supervision of the Prime Minister in order to appropriate use of the climate change fund.
“The country needs to have an effective authority to monitor appropriate use of the government money allocated for the climate change fund,” the Deputy Speaker said this on Thursday while addressing a roundtable at IPD conference room in the Jatiya Sangsad here. Deputy Speaker said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the only the head of the government who formed a separate fund for facing the adverse impact of climate change.
