Forkan passed 44 days in jail with fake warrant

Shop keeper of Aturardepot in the port city released without any allegations or conviction after 44 days confinement in jail custody . Forkan , a shop keeper of Aturardepot , son of Abul Hashem under Baizid thana was arrested by Baizid thana police on 01 August last with fake and forged warrant of a Cox’s Bazar court.
 He passed days in Chittagong jail custody 37 days and 7 days in Cox’sBazar jail . Finally he was released from Cox’sBazar jail custody in a verdict of the Judge of Women and Child Repression Tribunal Md. Nur Islam on 13 September last.
 In a verdict of the tribunal , Md. Forkan was released without any allegations and any conviction by any law enforcing agencies. He was released unconditionally by a Cox’s Bazar court unaccused, elder brother of Forkan told this reporter yesterday .
 Sources said, there is no allegations or complaints before the court so far and in connection , an evidence to this effect shown to this reporter. Cox’sBazar court sources said there is no existence of Kotwali thana in Cox’sBazar district and the warrant was a fake and fabricated one .
After hearing the bail petition for Forkan, Tribunal Judge released him without any involvement of the case so mentioned in the warrant notice, sources said.
General secretary of Cox’s Bazar Lawyers Association Md. Iqbalur Rashid Amin defended the accused Forkan , sources added.
